Thought I had to strip down again
« on: 01 June 2007, 16:00:40 »

Flushing the rad out and the old coolant this morning, took the car out for a spin, let it cool down dropped it again and another couple of times for good measure. Put the Red Coolant in dead pleased, then Mrs.Loo-knee looks up from painting her nails and says "Its dripping under here!" i thought she was joking!!!! But no she wasn't..... i couldn't believe my eyes then my heart sunk thinking i had got to strip down again >:(
I left the car running and jacked the front up to see where the water was coming from but it was clear water and tasted like normal water not with anti freeze.. so i turned of the air con by pressing ECO and it stopped dripping....Phew!!!!!

Couldn't believe that it would drip so much from condensation ::)

I wouldn't have believed that the air con would drip so much, but when i looked and saw it was clear water and didn't taste of anti freeze, it triggered a post i read a while back (it may have been yours and Mark answered your post) which is why i pressed the ECO button..

So once again Thanks OOF :y
