I have now got two omega`s

Hi to all, the wheelchair kid here again,
                           I could not help my self ::) I have brought my self a 1997 2.5 V6 Omega Tourer, my wife sayes that at this rate there will be one for every day of the week ;D.
          The only thing I am not sure about is, it is a automatic, but the insurance have it up as a Manual, Do you think it has been converted to auto? :-/
                So I now have a green one and a silver one (cars that is)

i once looked in to doing this,untill you see the amount of work involved . its a major job,far easier to convert an auto to manual

I am keeping the Tourer Automatic!!!!!! I just could not see why all of the paper work I have got with it say its Automatic, the car its self is Automatic, but when the insurance company put the reg in to there computer it came up as a Manual. :y

try putting the reg into the rac or aa hpi site.. it usualy tells you the basic information free ..ie.. engine size and type of car... it should say if its auto or manual.. prob the insurance database is wrong.

i had a simular problem when i got the car from the father in law when i entered the reg no it said it was a 2.5 and not a 2 ltr a quick phone call to the insurance company sorted this out

Welcome to the mulitple Omega owners group!  ;D
Currently I have 2.5 Omegas (1x 3.0 MV6, 1x 2.5 CD & 0.5x 3.0 Elite Estae LPG).

Be careful, buying Omegas can become addictive!  ;D

I agree, I have had various omegas for the last nine years, now my wife has one as well.
At least it makes the cam lock kit worthwhile.
