Scuttle valve
« on: 27 June 2007, 12:53:55 »

In the latest downpours of rain my passenger footwell got flooded and it was water in the scuttle. Got that cleared by pushing the scuttle valve into the scuttle from the passengers wheel well and letting the water out. Left it with the valve out for a few days and then the engine lost power and was misfiring. Cleaned the scuttle out and put the valve back in and all now seems ok. Does anyone have an idea as to why this happens :- :question

Hmmm....you could have given the dis pack a soaking. If so, it may cause you problems in the future.

And welcome to the forum :y

Thanks for that, I have found this forum a great help. I'll keep a check on the water level in the scuttle in future. :)
