Hello one side is on each unit the reflector moves about if its touched not noticed it will driving so I assume they have become wedged in place well they were till I them. Is it possible to take these apart to see what is going on inside
I think that you may find that one of the two beam the adjuster(s) are no longer attached to the reflectors because the black plastic 'lumps' on the end of them have disintegrated. They appear to be made of a material that does not like being heated & becomes brittle, breaks & causes them to fall off the threaded parts.
I beleive that it is possible to remove the clear plastic lens from the lamps with considerable difficulty, but assuming that all of the bits of the broken part are still present, glueing them back together in such a way that they are reliable is questionable. I think the best remedy is a new headlamp!
(Be wary of buying on e-bay, many offered have broken adjusters that do not become apparent until you fit them & try to set them up correctly, by which time you may have left positive feedback for the Seller)
