facelift grill advice
« on: 29 July 2007, 16:45:16 »

 :-/ Hi ppl,

I prefere the grill off the pre facelift omega's coz I think the facelift grill has too much shinyness to it,so as bmw do a dechrome pack for all theyre models I was thinking of spraying the grill and surround satin black but leaving the vauxhall badge unpainted, what do ya reckon it would look like good or bad, also ive seen some omega lights that had black lenses,I was wondering if its possible to do this myself or are they just an aftermarket mod?

cheers for a very warm welcome

you can get sports grilles off ebay without chrome on

or just respray as you said

should look fine

the black lenses, do you mean front or back? front look awful, seen them on a car on ebay and it just wasnt nice

Yeah I  meant the front ones, not made my mind up about them yet,I thought the lights i'd seen had been painted by the car owner but a quick scout on ebay shows them being sold for around £150 and not sure if I like them that much, anyway another question springs to mind,do the pre facelift rear lights fit facelift models as I like the smoked effect of them?
Cheers Dan
