Cruise Control
« on: 13 August 2007, 09:27:21 »

Hiya Chaps I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I have Bought a Cruise Control Box on Ebay for £15 with all the wires and so forth for fitting and i am waiting for a Stork to arrive also.

My question is about the brake and clutch switches

I will need a clutch switch which ill buy new from VX, Anyone know the part number and price of one ?
And the brake switch i already have but dont know if its the right one on my car, I think you need a 4 pin brake switch instead of the one that already on, Ill have to check if it is a 4 pin switch, guess ill have to get one from VX also.

4 pin brake switch is needed- best way is to pull the multiplug off your existing one to see what you have.

You may want to try a scappie for the brake switch but the clutch switch is rarer so probably a VX job.  Try pposting on parts wanted.

Also be aware that the cruise actuator cable is different for the V6 and the 4 pot.  Hope your actuator from ebay has the 4 pot cable because they are pricey from VX

Good luck
