Which Tyres?
« on: 13 August 2007, 15:40:22 »

I just bought these alloys:

What tyre size should I fit? Should I have wider ones on the rear?
Someone said 235/45/17 would be the best but i'm not really sure.
Cheers Rich

They look like the facelift 17s to me, so that would be 235/45ZR17.

Strangely, that particular size has a different setting on the instrument cluster and on the MID.

Do I need to change the settings? And if so how?

No idea if you need to - I guess its down to rolling diameter...

If you do need to, MID is Tech2, instrument is Tech2 after 98.

In laymans terms, theres nought you can do on an M reg, so don't worry about it. Just be aware that presumably speedo and fuel computer may be inaccurate
