Aircon problem
« on: 19 August 2007, 16:51:53 »

Just went round to the old fellas house to gas my aircon, well he vacuumed it out and filled it but when he pulled the hose off the valve pissed out all the gas.

My question is

Can I get a replacemnet valve or do I need a whole new pipe(the one at the front) i know the the top valve is like a shraeder type so that can be replaced but the front is different.

Cheers

afaik, both access ports have schrader inserts and can be changed.

Try connecting / disconnecting the service hoses a few times, usually gets the valves to seal.

The one nearest the rad has like a ball valve and looks like it will unscrew, I needed to know if it will before I ruin the pipe trying.
