Stuck on centre console
« on: 30 August 2007, 14:28:37 »

I need to change a bulb behind the centre console.  have got as far as radio and cage out, switches out and all bottom screws done. I cannot for the life of me find any release bar for the top of the console. I have looked for hiiden screws to no avail also. I have the analogue dials and not the digital climate switches.

Any help welcome.

Pull off the nobs for the heater( the ones that control heat and fan settings) they just pull off, there are screws under there, thats it then should come off...

Bar only exists on climate. Rotary dials have more screws ;)

Got it. Thanks very much. Bulb changed and all dandy. Decided to remove my front speaker at the same time, as the side have perished and it vibrates. The door card was not hanging on the top clips properly, so fixed an annoying little rattle at the same time. Good couple of hours work  :y
