ok got a tech 2 how the hell do we use it hhahah

we bought a tech 2 off ebay

have any of you used one like this we are presuming that the pc wont recognize any data as it has not as yet been plugged into the car if any of you have used this any ideas will be handy i.e does it have to be plugges in the car and the pc at the sae time or just plug into car then bring in and plug into laptop. We have no idea there were no instructions haha.

Has to be plugged into the car and the pc at the same time.

You need something like opelscan??

Not 100% sure as never used one, just going from memory from other posts :)

Ahh...the cheapo tech2 as is it refered to  ;)

You have to plug it into the laptop and omega at the same time  :y

Its okish.....if your good at reading Hungarian  ;D

Seriously it does the job of reading codes and reseting them  :y

Ah yes, the cheapo Tech2...

It sort of works most of the time, and will easily make back its purchase price.  The software, however, is awful.

I tested one a couple of years back, and it mostly works....

Dont sit in the front when reading airbag system - I dont trust their buggy program ;D

remember for cheapo tech2 you need a laptop with a real com port, usb to com adaptors do not work very well...
