got all the bits 2 do my manifold gasket 2day. can eny one do this job 4 me or no a good spaner man two takle it . vx say its a days job an wont £78 an hour 4 doin it . thats just a bit out of my price range at over £450. nelpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp. :'(

where abouts are you? what car do you have? on 2.0l its only a 2hour job as vx told me!

Drivers side, is not too bad... pain, takes a couple of hours... but ok.

Yes, I can do it, but I am not available until next weekend. :(

Tip in the mean time.... get plus gas... lots of, and soak the manifold bolts and the exhaust bolts in it.

Oh and what year is it?

You can.t get to the manifold bolts unless you remove the heatshield first, i thought  :-/

Good point!  ;D

I am busy thinking about the exhaust bolts, but you can reach some of the manifold nuts.
Post 98 cars have different nuts, which (allegedly) don't shear...
