The correct tyre size for elite & MV6 is 235/45/17 (both the same tyre/wheel spec). I don't think the pirellis will be anywhere near the proper fitment  :(

Wouldn't bother risking tyres with sidewall damage either. Remember, your life rides on those tyres!

is it facelift or pre??

it depends on the look you want, facelift elite and MV6 alloys are both 17, it really depends on the look you want, MV6 making it look sportier and elite looking... "smooth"

If you pop down to Kinross Services on Sunday afternoon I'll bring a prefacelift MV6 alloy and you can see how soft they are with the inner rim distorted.  It will let you know what to look for, anyway....    :y

I prefer the facelift MV6 alloys to the pre-facelift elite wheels, check out the pic's below to see how mine looked before and after.

Facelift mv6 wheel;

And Pre-Facelift elite Wheels on the same car;

A close up

Pre-facelift wheels, which I think look nice on a black Omega;

The prefacelift MV6 alloys are incredibly soft - I have a massively buckled one in my garage.

 ;D

I now have 3 out of 4 with various buckles in my garage, 2 with Goodyear F1's with about 4/5 mm in the centre left (both shoulders are well down though....  :( )
