Fitted a set on my DTI, got them from ebay, very good too, had no issues fitting them, the drill bit came with them also.

i prefer audio only, and struggled to find on ebay.

What good is a screen, when you are still supposed to look behind (its only a driver aid, not a replacement for looking).

Me too, I bought a set that came with one of those pointless (IMO) displays and threw it away. I don't place enough trust in the sensors that I'm prepared to reverse without looking, so I'd have to keep looking back and forward to check the display!

The factory fit ones in my dad's BMW are audio only. Personally unless it's integrated with the car's standard information system, I think having a display for them looks cheap and unprofessional.

Yes, agreed, the stick on displays look tacky...

I remember Sounds2k talking about a system that just uses tape stuck to the inside of the bumper thus avoiding the need to fit unsightly sensors.

Anyone tried them?

this display (some of them are really quality displays) what people dont prefer have a very simple solution, put on the back side so you can see both back and the display  ;D

ps: also they are more expensive

when i first got my miggy i fitted a set, mine came with the digital display that tells me which sensor is closest to the obsticle

Accuracy, within 2 cm, i have never had any isses, my only wsh was that i could intergrate it slightly better so it doesnt look as aftermarket as it does.

Given the choice i would go for display type again

I fitted a kit to a mates car (Focus Saloon), his wife is a short ar5e you see!  It was from Halfuds, £99, it's a number plate surround type, two sensors, distance adjustable, it beeps from the boot at you, it uses a ground connection and it's live feed from the reversing lights only....   I think it'll fit on a Meega too....

it's the "Taurus T21P" system - found it to be good until some scrote failed to stop in time and whacked into the back of the car - during the repair procedure I think they might have damaged it, probably only needed the sticky tape aerial replacing - but I never bothered.

The other advantage of non-display units of course being that you can look where you're going ... I might fit one of the Taurus units to the Saab ...
