Fault code is back, poor performance at low revs
« on: 04 October 2007, 14:47:24 »

A few days ago, TB kindly Tech2'd my car, and cleared out all my fault codes.

Now I have done some miles, I have read the codes again, and I am getting

73 Air Flow Sensor (AFS) Low voltage

Which is what I was getting before.

The pickup at low revs is poor, and the rear multiram won't work. Multiram actuates with Tech2 fine, so there is a good vac and electronically all is sound.

Do we suspect there may be a MAF problem? Could also account for the not-great MPG it's getting?

And maybe this is disabling the ram for some reason?

Swap the MAF from the other car to try it out

Does sound like MAF, but you really, really, really need to check for unmetered air first.

I have checked to the best of my ability... is there some device that would help me test?
