F**king Crankshaft sensor help please
« on: 18 October 2007, 15:09:13 »

Following code 19  have changed my crank shaft sensor for a new one to solve a stalling problem.

Since changing the stalling problem has improved code 19 still remains on paper-clip test, car is now stalling on the move, not just at idle.

Previous stalling the car just cut out clean, but now is spluttering on acceleration and dash warning lights are coming on dimly at first prior to full stall.

Really am getting to the end of my tether, can anyone advise on this and hopefully offer a solution.

Crank shaft sensor is definitely the correct one and is brand new.

What is the battery voltage with the engine off and with it revving at about 2K rpm.

will have to get someone to read it for me as do not have the correct tool.

Incidently when it stalls now the revs drop well below 500rpm and the speedo jumps a little bit.

What are you thinking mark?
