Do you think its going to need much / anything ?

Personally, buying a car i`d be thinking its actually nearly Christmas. And the other end of Christmas is Febuary. And its MOT is then due.

I would MOT it for 12 months, better selling scope, more money for  :-X

Depends on what the cost of putting new MOT on it and what you want to recover from the sale.

Sell better with new MOT i think..

I would put a new MOT on it, people like this when buying a car. Put it up on here with or without the MOT and see what happens.
If all the tyres are good and the exhaust is not blowing, all the lights work and there are no horrible knocking noises when driving, then i wouls say it stands a damn good chance of passing. You will get more than the £50 it costs for the MOT back when selling it.
IMHO.

if its up for sale now and has no MOT failure faults that you know of, dont put any on yet

3 months is plenty of time... if not much interest, then stick MOT on!
