i have Richard Hammonds new book, so far a good read.

Jeremy clarkson biography was brilliant
Duncan Brannatyne (dragons den) another fantastic read

I try to read a lot, some of it is complete rubbish

 :(Yeah but they fine you 15p if you take 'em back late!! I buy most of mine from booties for a few pence each & pass them on when read.

Shaun also happens to be a top bloke (I still am getting stick over Liverpoll V Derby  :-[) .
He is friends with my ex.

I would recommend The Portable Door by Tom Holt if you like fun stuff. or The Master And Margerita by Mikhail Bulgakov if you like Russian literature....

Geoffrey Archer works for me, if you are looking for chewing gum for the brain.

Liked the Gordon Ramsey autobiography.  Like his TV stuff as well so kinda filled in a few gaps for me.  Not exactly world beating intelectual stuff but kept this simpleton occupied for a few days whilst on hols....   ;D

Currently reading Tommy Docherty's autobiography, Ian Botham's is good too.

I love Terry Pratchett's stuff but the one that I really enjoyed a few years ago was The Jigsaw Man by Paul Britton, here's the Amazon review;

I must admit, I get through bucket loads of books - usually better than some of the TV offerings!! I can thoroughly recommend the following:-

Adventure - Wilbur Smith
Thrillers - Martina Cole
Fantasy - Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time series)

They've all written a hell of a lot of books so should keep you going for a couple of years Markie! ::) ;)

 Try  D DAY BY STEPHEN AMBROSE A VERY GOOD READ AND TELLS IT AS IT WAS, NOT HOW THE FILMS TELL IT. :o
