More heating trouble

I have climate air-con on a 1999 Elite. If i put the control on Hi i get very hot air as expected but below this its warm for a while and then basically blows cold, even colder if on Auto.
I have tried a reset but still the same, any ideas???

It does get hot when on Hi so i assume that the matrix is fine :-/
I was more thinking that the part that senses the temp inside the car is playing up....

could be bud get your head down there and give it a right blow !! seems to catch a lot of dust the air temp sampler !!
