Spent today traveling across half the country to pick up a car which my brother wanted. Even though he hasn't passed his test yet, he said it will stop him being so damned lazy and actually give him an incentive now to get his test done! (He's been learning since he was 18, he's now 27 :-? )
So, set off from Cheshire to Skegness on the train at about 10 thismornin to collect the car NLM had advertised on here. For the money, it's nay too bad! Needs a little bit of work which can be done easy enough. Drove it back from Skegness no problems, the PAS pump was being a sod and would only help the steering if the engine was revved, and sometimes the car would stall when you just start it up (ICV), so thats 2 little jobs.
Came back via SLady bitshorpe to see marky mark about an aerial for the radio in my elite (problem with phone, its posted somewhere on here...) but the one he had was the wrong type
Still, it's not like we went majorly out of the way to get it as it was on the way back
So now my brothers 'new' car has stolen the driveway where i used to park and now I'm relegated to parking on the road
Fun day though
And finally I can now call it to a close and get some damned rest
I'll try get some pictures tomorrow if I'm up early enough before I head to uni
