timing belt kits

hi all,
please can anyone give me a rough guide to timing bet kits as i have been getting quotes of between £51to150,is this about right?.

Use only gen vx belt kits, and they are about £83 on tc. :y

i got quoted £165 for a cambelt kit from the main dealer yesterday when i picked up my rocker gaskets.

Just be aware with autovaux, just bevause they say it is a genuine part, doesn't mean it is  >:(

For the non-gen kits, I favour the contitech parts as the tensioner and idlers are the same as the genuine (also the same as the Gates one) but, the belt seems better than the gates ones.

The one I got from Autovaux was SKF - fine for the rollers/tensioner as they made the ones that were already on the car.  


Don't recall that the Vx ones now don't have markings..?
