mirror indicators
« on: 02 October 2007, 22:32:56 »

Iv'e got some of those clear LED  indicators that bend to the shape of your mirrors, I was contemplating fitting them to the car drilling a small hole in the casing to take the small wire. they are clear but orange when lit like certain Merc models & others, would they look crap though? :-/

Spotted them on E-bay at the weekend, universal 3/4 small leds, mirror housing has to be drilled to take them, I did mull over this for almost 5 seconds ::)......just could'nt see them looking right on a meega. They would need to be built into the Housing like them lovely merc ones :y..then they'll look just as bad as those merc ones ;D ;D............However, joking aside each to their own and until seen on the car, you won't really know for sure :y

Yes I did toy with the idea of taking them off & cutting a apeture so they would fit from inside giving that factory fitted look but the computer says no :'(

Not too sure if I'm overly keen on them. Just more expense to get fixed when some tw*t knocks your door mirror off when passing too close. ::)
