Omega strut compatability
« on: 13 December 2007, 17:31:11 »

Hello people!

The n/s front strut on my 2000 2.5 is sagging.  I have the opportunity to get hold of a 1999 strut, again from a V6.

My gut instinct is that there will be no problem with the older one fitting - but am I correct??

Thanks!

Nope.....the 2000 model year had damper rate changes....so you wont have a matched pair.

Idealy they should be replaced as pairs.

Ah ok - but if I got the pair they would be fine in terms of physically fitting?
