Philips make bulbs which are up to 80% brighter. I have some in my main beam and they are good ;)

Hi Sadman

Having gone from a '96 2.0 GLS with well murky headlights to a 2000 MV6 with HIDs I have to say there is only one way to "light up the night"!
(£2.5k is a bit expensive for the upgrade but you do get better suspension, a pokey engine and a bit of carbon fibre thrown in...)

Seriously, a search on "headlights" should get you details on a projector upgrade off fleabay that seems to be ok and a more cost effective upgrade than mine was. (There's a search box on the top right corner of the forum screen).

It may be worth looking for a pair of projector type  headlights as yours is in early car these should make a fair difference

I just found this place online. Looks like an Aladin's cave of light bulbs and cheap too.  :y
