Right, my misfire has now returned with a vengence.  Basically it started when rocker cover gaskets failed and plugs were swimming in oil for quite a bit longer than they should have.  I put new gaskets in and also replaced the HT leads which althoyugh made the car run much better it still had a missfire when the engine was under load but only at low revs.  I then replaced the spark plugs and this improved things still further although it did still miss when under load.

I washed the car yesterday and the car initially ran ok but after it had been stood a few hours i started it and the missfire was back and worse that ever and it was doing it all the time.  

Had a quick look at the DIS pack this morning to see if there was any obvious sign that it got a drenching when i washed it but I couldn't really tell.  I started the car and although the miss was there for a minute or two it seemed to dissapear and upon driving round the block it was only missing when under load.  I then took it back home and turned it off for about 30 minutes but when I came to start it again and drove off the missfire returned to how it was before i.e doing it constantly both at idle and when revving the balls out of it.

Could it be anything else other than the DIS pack causing this, really pulling my hair out at the moment as it always breaks down just when i need it.

i would say plugleads, especially if they have been immersed in oil for a while, even if it was sometime ago.

the oil could have broken the insulation down and it could now be arcing against the plug well.

alternative have the plug wells filled up again, if aftermarket gaskets were used they have a very limited life and may have failed

Mate sounds like a early sign of diz pack failing if you ask me, and as you have changed the leads and the plugs you may aswell change the diz pack...
