Time to move on
« on: 06 October 2007, 17:51:01 »

As I am no longer the owner of a Vauxhall Omega and I have some things to deal with over the next few months, I have decided to leave the forum. Now, I know I have been there before, but I really have nothing to offer anymore.

I am delighted that the forum has been the success it has. This is way beyond what I planned when I originally toyed with the idea of this place. Whilst I had some input in the start of this place, I have taken a back seat for the past few months and it runs extremely well.

The team of TheBoy, MarksDTM, AutoAdict, Hotel21 and of course Laidback66 are more than capable of keeping this forum running most efficiently.

As said, I can no longer offer any useful input and can no longer contribute in a positive way, so it is time to bow out once and for all.

I am not leaving because of any tiff or handbags at dawn. I genuinely have things more influential on my life at the moment and wish to spend the next few months working through something with my family.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking each and every one of you for making this forum the success that it is. I wish you all the very best for the future, whatever life throws your way. I would also like to thank the many who have supported me and sent wishes through my illness and I genuinely am grateful for your wishes and thoughts.

Unlike previous times, I will not be back this time. So this is farewell. Take care everyone and be good! :y

Couldn't have put it better myself. Sometimes it's not important to have the biggest vocabulary to say just the right thing.

Good luck Fin. Hope the op goes well.
