abs breaking

hi guys. i bought a new tensioner and aux belt for my omega 2.5 v6 and the belt still slips in the morning when first started. driving home today in the car and the engine nearly cut out but ther was just enough power to keep it running then all the lights on the dashboard came on and then went off again apart from the abs/tc light does anyone knw why this would b? cheers

belt shoud not slip bud could it be too long ?? auto tensioner should take slack out !! :o

The belt was really tight to put on plus i measured

then you must have a really worn pulley on alternanter or aircon  ::)
