Someone posted something a while back about brakes and 'warping' but to sum it up the discs don't warp they pick up a material from the pad that sticks on the disc and causes an imperfection.

In answer to your question though, yes you could have caused the disc to have an imperfection, it's not that hard believe it or not.
I have found genuine stuff to be more resilient to punishment. the after market stuff just isn't up to much when on a car such as an Omega

Did you use genuine Vx discs & pads or pattern ones ? ... the latter are known to have problems sometimes.

Do you drive hard and hold the car in drive against the brakes when you have to stop ?? This causes localised "hotspots" in the disk and can lead to judder.

got the discs from LMF vauxhall if thats any help?
I dont drive /brake hard at all as i tend to just plod along and i never keep foot on brake when stopped at lights e.t.c. Good idea to check pads for build up i'll do it tomorrow......

The writing says

I always wash my car after a cool down period and never have this juddering problem..

If your going to check, then give everything a good clean, make sure the caliper slide bolts are clean and free.
If its still the same them i am afraid new discs and pads required, as already said

Is the judder coming through the steering wheel or pedal???

I replaced my dics and pads on the rear due to a bad vibration throught the pedal alone... just an idea...

had same problem, changed the discs (using Vx), problem came back 5k later...

Vibration is in steering wheel, not pedal.

I am pretty convinced that in my case it is some suspension component. I have two wishbones (from VSC) waiting for good weather. I don't know for fact that old wishbones are shot, just decided to start with the wishbones and see how it goes...
