Actually there was a gear indicator on the Smart Car I drove 7 or 8 years ago but that had a sequential shift & you couldn't tell what gear you were in without the dispay.....

 :)Stick one on my truck. See if it can keep up with a 3 on3 range change & splitter. If i really want to be silly i can change up or down a half gear in reverse!!!!!!!!!!! :D
