Intermittent problem - doors unlock then lock
« on: 08 February 2008, 17:51:06 »

This is wierd and happens every now and then.  I unlock the doors and they instantly lock again.  Catching the door at the right time just as it unlocks gets you in.

Any ideas?

I had a similar intermittent problem on my 2.0l pre facelift estate. I'd lock the doors and they immediately sprang open again.
I never established the exact cause but I noticed that when I manually locked and unlocked the tailgate, (purely by accident),it seemed to rectify itself, and it hasn't re-occurred. Don't ask me why.
