idle problem

hi all i have a problem at the moment. i'm off to kent tomorrow as there is a funeral but my car ....... has suddenly decided it's going to start hunting. revs on its own from 1000 to 1500  and won't go any lower on idle. please help as i need to get this sorted for tomorrow!

most probable that its the idle control valve.  check the howtoo section/maintenance guides on how to remove and clean.   :y
