rear trailing arm

can anyone tell me if the rear suspension trailing arm are the same on facelift/ pre-facelift vehicles.

I changed one last week. Was a doddle.
I bought a pre-facelift one fron a scrappy and fitted it to my post-facelift one.

The only difference I found was that the light adjustment sensor thing (I guess to let you know if you're carrying a fat bird) couln't be used. The bracket wasn't there.

I'd imagine not all models have this facility, or in my case, i found not.
