Heard a noise from
« on: 11 October 2007, 19:54:24 »

the back wheel today so got home and decided to investigate....

Took of the wheel, brake disc's look fine so did the pads.
Off with the Disc thinking that the protection plate may have been catching, then bits dropped onto the floor ;D bits that were supposed to have been the handbrake shoes ;D ;D

So will be doing them next ::)

Whilst genuine discs/pads are recommended all round the rear handbrake shoes are, apparently, just as good from a factor (and lots cheaper...   :y ).

I'd seen from your other post. Can't think where I got that price from then - perhaps that's full retail :-/  :-/ :-?  :-?

In all the years I've had Senators & this Omega, I've never even seen the hand brake shoes let alone changed 'em.  ;)  ;)
