hi chaps just got the omega back from vx just like to thank you all for the dianostic of the heater by pass valve spot on lads, very surprised at the cost from vx £115 and got it back within 3hours :y to add a sad note just sold my 960 volvo to day  :'( but on the happy side just brought a bmw 528i flying machine ;D cheers lads keep up the good work :y

What! The part is £30, and about 30mins to fit!

At £85 an hour, they allowed an hour even though it only takes 30 mins?? Thats good of them :)

ok lads dont be hard on me it was my only option at the time, it dumped all the water on monday morning and had to get the good old AA to tow it in :'(

You have my sympathies on the HBV issue and your approach to getting it sorted... we can't all do everything ourselves, for a variety of reasons.

Anyway - a 528, eh? I had one for 8 yrs before I got my Omega- have you been onto the Unofficial BMW owners forum? - sorry I'm no good at links but it's at

hi thanks for that not got my bemer yet as the dealer has found a problem with the gear box works fine in tip mode but not on auto but hay no money changed hands yet so still got my ace omega thats if the wife will let me have it ;D
