The Auto trader web site is quite interesting, theres a facility for typing in a cars Reg Number & it comes up with a basic list make,model,colour, engine size, date of first reg, date of last change of owner, could be useful if thinking of buying a motor & it's free :) ( 25 quid for a comprehensive check)

Used it a few times myself, I sometimes found the pricing to be wayout.
