Electric Window Problem
« on: 11 March 2008, 18:22:48 »

Strange problem but hopefully a simple solution (if anything is ever simple on the Miggy)  ;)

The offside rear door window works fine from the rear door switch - opens and closes - and opens fine from the front drivers door switch bank but it won't close from the drivers door switch bank. I'm not too electrically minded but it suggests to me perhaps a disconnected or broken wire/connection on the switch bank.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated before I start hacking about to repair/replace it in case the problem may lie elsewhere.

Thanks, Mike

Could be switch in the drivers bank or the wire that leads to it.

Whip out the switch and check the wires either a ground or voltage test and then do a open/close curcuit test on the switch.
