Fitting a new brake light switch..

Timbuk sorted me with the part... Can anyone advise on fitting it?? help!!

its a very easy job ::) if you like lying up side down in your car with your head in the footwell not being able to see what you are trying to do but it is easy to fit but access is a real pain in the arse hope you injoy i know i did :)

up above the pedals it is a real pain to get to and very difficult to get removed because of the lack of room easy enough to do but very little space to see what you are doing it is more of feeling your way than seeing hth

Remove the fibreboard panel above the pedals then remove the air duct (pull out the plastic 'rivet' then pull down to separate from heater)

Shove the seat fully back and get upsidedown in the foot well, the switch is high up above the brake pedal.

Use a bit of wood etc to jam the pedal down a couple of inches then pull the switch plunger fully out. Then pull the locking collar fully out.  Now you should be able to depress the locating latches and remove the switch. (new switch should help you understand this bit)

Fit new switch, push in locking collar but DO NOT press in the plunger. Let the brake pedal up gently to allow the switch to self adjust.

The rest is just re-assembly.
