What happens if the battery dies?
« on: 23 March 2008, 21:12:35 »

Will anything sinister happen?  The battery went flat whilst i had the doors open all day (and had been shuffling the car about as well most of the morning).  Now on a trickle charge overnight to get it back up - but wondering if some strange things might happen when i first start it up again.  I know some cars forget their settings (for idle, etc) and need to be left idling for 10 minutes - or even will drive strangely for a bit.

Could be interesting as i've just found an air leak (dislodged hose from the heating control..) and fixed that - which i hope might have cured my stalling ad idle issue!

BTW, non-VX stereo, so no issues with "CODE" there (just as well as i don't have it!)

Should be good to go mate, but you will need to reset your electric windows/sunroof if you have one and Tid/ MID SCREEN.

My MID screen is in "power save" mode (only uses about 25% of the pixels), so no loss there!  How does one reset the windows and sunroof(I sound like the newbie I am)?
