Hi Marie, I think you need to read the codes again.

Your first line 050505 doesn't make sense to me.

Your second line 0340 = Camshaft Sensor.

The fact that you are getting 10 Flashes which = 0 (zero)
would tend to indicate that you have a Simtec 56.5
which will give you 4 digit codes.

Do the test again, on this basis, looking for 4 digit codes
where 10 flashes = 0 (zero).
I'm told that each code is repeated 3 times before displaying
the next code. I cannot confirm this from personal experience
as I've only ever had 1 fault code that just kept repeating
ad infinitum.

Yep should get a four digit code, counting 10 flashes as a 0.  They don't repeat three times before moving on.  It should give you the code and then there will be a pause before it starts the next.   When you see the first code being repeated again you have all your codes.

Usually find when there is a code coming and going, it will end up on permanantly eventually but I'd wait to see if it does come back.  No point in making extra work for yourself when there is a chance it's ok.  If you're finding the car having problems with idle then by all means give the valve a clean.

Ahh, joining the world of LPG aren't you the lucky one.  I couldn't go back to filling up with petrol or diesel after using gas.   :y
