Automatic Gearbox - slipping?

Hi Guys,

I've just brought my very first Omega so I'd just like to say Hi!

Also, got a small problem with the autobox - when in drive it feels like the clutch is slipping in the first few gears however if i slide the knob down to 1/2/3 it's fine. Someone at work mentioned something about the torque convertor? anyone have any ideas what it could be?

First thing you really need to do is get under the car and check the oil level.  then we can go from there, :)

Now has two miggs in our house hold. Both 2.0ltr 16v lpg'd. a MFL and a FL.

does the autobox have a seperate oil supply?

was planning on doing an oil change today when i stops raining!

oh forgot to mention. you will need a bottle of fairy liquid to wash the stuff out your hair and it stinks. bad! :)
