I hope you're right although the fact the crank sensor fault is still there is a tad worrying.  Wait and see what the experts think.

right still misfiring under light load so i have took the coil pack out (only new on 20 1 08 ) and it seems to be starting to split with very small signs of rust appearing out of the splits so much for ebay vx dealers  >:( at least it is guaranteed for 12 months but i will have to pay return postage >:( have any of you had any problems with these non genuine coil packs? if this is all the time they last they must be total junk plus i am still getting fault code 19 crank shaft sensor also ebay vx dealers but i thought it should be ok as it is made by siemens but it is still trying to cut out like it did with the old one could the coil pack be relaited to the cuting out but then again it still is storing fault code 19 any advice appreciated

I remember reading some time ago that fault codes are stored until there is no fault for a set number of engine start-ups.  Cant remember the exact number but was over 10 at least.

You got me thinking now as I have mis-fire problems yet no eml light on should I be worried?

being in contact with the ebay vx parts seller that supplied my coil pack and told them it was faulty they said to but another one and return the faulty one and they will test it and if faulty will refund money plus postage costs so bought another one only this time it was a bosch one (£69.50) so hopfully it will sort out my misfire, i am expecting delivery today so fingers crossed it will arrive as i payed extra for next day delivery if this does not sort it i will  burn it and claim the insurance :-?

I'd get the HBV changed if you haven't already, it could be starting to go and spraying small amounts of coolant on your dis pack!
