Well Ihave just got in from an even better day x We have met today and she is truly an amazing young lady now   :) lots of tears all round  :'( but ionly of joy  :y that was a very big step for us both but there are going to be loads more she know has grandparents and even great grandparents to meet plus every one else on her dads side of the family x To hear her call me dad for the first time today makes my eyes fill up even now and I do not care who knows  :y Roxanne is very much like me in her mannerisms its actually a bit spooky i mean she was only three last time I saw her so its not as if she has picked them up from me , ANY WAY FROM ONE VERY VERY HAPPY DAD   Thanks for all the kind words everyone once again   you are all brilliant and I am proud to be part of OOF

A truly heartwarming story :y :y It must be such a sad, strange thing to have not seen your daughter since she was 3 years old and then to meet her again when she's a teenager. My 2 sons were 8 and 11 when me and my ex-wife divorced but I still managed to keep in regular contact with them, but I can't begin to imagine what it's been like in your circumstances.
I sincerely hope it's the new beginning of a wonderful father/daughter relationship. :)
