there is noway an omega body can go upto 227 mph thats faster than a mclaren f1! i would say as others have said that its the rolling road wasnt set up!

Don't foget the top speed on a rolling road is irrespective of aerodynamic drag, it's all down to gearing.
Not a lot of cars *can* hit red line in 5th due to the logrythmic way in which the power has to increase to get ever decreasing increases in speed
eg you might need an extra 10bhp to get the top speed from 100 to 110, but to increase top speed to 120 from 110 will take 20bhp. (figures for illustrative purposes only).
But yeah, top speed on a RR entirely down to gearing.
Saying that, my MV6 auto, for example, is doing 80mph at 2700rpm.
That means roughly 340rpm per 10mph. Therefore at the 6600 (i think?) redline, you'd be looking at 195mph, but on a standard MV6 you won't have enough power to force the car through the air at that speed.
