2.2 Cam position sensor fitting?
« on: 30 March 2008, 21:58:54 »

As a consequence of my last posting, I went out and bought a replacement camshaft position sensor for my 2.2L petrol Omega (nasty pain in the wallat!) and then looked at the Haynes manual for how to fit it. The book says it has such a sensor but that is it! (no real surprises there damnit!)

Can someone give me a few clues as to how to fit the new sensor and whether there are any pitfalls to avoid?

Many Thanks

you have to remove cambelt cover and look between to two pulleys there is a small e8 bolt take that out and wiggle it up from coil pack cover and away you go ! refitting is reverse of removel !! :y :y
