How they had the nerve to call the 2.2 'Sport' I'll never know.  Simply solution, get a V6 ;D

Seriously, is it really bad - it should be able to do 0-60 in about 9s form manual, probably 1s more for auto?

The word "sport" doesn't refere to any special tuning etc just the model/ trim level performance vise it's no different to any other 2.2

Timed my estate 0-60 roughly with onboard stop watch and got 9.2 secs. I was proper pleased with that. Would of been pleased with 10 cos its a big car aint it.

"sport" in this case is basically a trim level, like elite, CD or CDX

basically it depicts what the car looks like, so its gonna look identical to an MV6 apart from whats under the bonnet, the only reason they cant call it an MV6 is because it doesnt have a V6 engine and "M-4pot" just doesnt sound "cool" :D

The sport actually relates to the chassis setup.......

Although it wont be a flying machine its should be doing 0-60 in around 10 seconds so if its not then there is an issue.

my mv6 feels like it gets to 60 in the mid to low 7s with a good launch.

its above 60-70 where the mv6 really shows it colours though!  :y

3.0 manual seems to be around 7.5 ish (wasn't my car, so didn't go too mad), auto around 7.7 (my car, tried a few times). Plod ones quicker as diff makes it lower geared.

2.5/2.6 not far off these, due to gearing, though the 3.0/3.2 feel so much quicker, and show themselves as the speed increases.

Need to test my tractor properly - Omegatoy got around 9s from my TD auto, but wasn't trying too hard, so I reckon there may be some gains there ::)

I need to borrow Tunnie's 2.2 to test that ;)

After. Though remember mines an auto, and also, I reckon the 427 map is better than the 428 map, going by the only 427 I've driven.
