Cambelt Locking Kit
« on: 09 April 2008, 16:18:35 »

Hi there guys ,

Was wondering what you guys thought of the cambelt locking kit made by a company called 'Laser'?

There are a couple for sale on E-bay at the moment for £80 plus p+p the price seems good but was wondering about quality and accuracy.

Anyone got an oppinion? :-/

Seem to remember a couple of dodgy reports on the lazer kit a while ago.
Sykes Pickavant is the usually recommended kit and can be had for that price or less.

I have one that works but it's not great quality. Several other members have had ones that simply don't fit. I'd steer clear of them if I were you. Get a SP or Sealey one instead.

I use an SP one, seems to be much better than the Laser ones I've seen. Can be picked up for similar money easy enough
