mmmmsweet sound of a v6
« on: 10 April 2008, 20:32:39 »

got my rocker cover gaskets finished today, while it was all off we put new ignition leads and plugs in, new heater bypass valve, cleaneds the exhaust fies of to, i think thats what they are called turned her over and what a difference, i struggle to hear the engine running now :y,
one thing tho if any one can answer this, when we started her up, after a couple of mins idleing from cold, the revs constant at 900, then they jumped to 1500, went down to 500 when engaged the auto box, then back to 1500 in park, it did it twice, we put it down to settling the new parts in etc, its seems ok now tho. any one any thoughts, runs very nice tho, expecting 40 mpg from now on   :y :y    yeah rite :-/ :-/
