Have you checked that the 2 bolts holding that arm assy on the door are tight???

Get a good 2nd hand one on here, not to bad a job to replace or remove old one if not broken and give it a good clean and regrease and job done

Also check that the door frame is not cracked, if it is then you will have to fit reinforcing plates as well, not hard and not expensive, have a look in the maintenance guides for a how to

Get another catch assy.
Ask in the wanted section, chances are Chris or MarkieMark will have a good one or you can by new from Vx about £30ish i think.

i wouldnt do that. spend money in wrong desing

they put something so cheap and weak in very heavy door

i opened that bolt and leave it

the handel went inside so much the better  and no more noise

it got 2 suport .
