Removal of front bumper cdx 1998
« on: 15 April 2008, 17:56:16 »

I need to remove the front bumper to get access to the passenger side headlight washer unit which doesn’t work
I am unsure how to remove the trim under the headlight unit.  I have removed the screw that secures the inside end behind the grill and prised them forward. They are somehow secured in the middle, under the headlight and the headlight washer stalk goes through a hole in the middle of the trim, making all very awkward. I am worried that I may break something if I pull at them any harder.  What is the technique for removing these trims and do the washer heads come of the stalks?

The lower trims are held by plastic clips, but if you remove the foglight or its blanking plate, you should have reasonable access to the washer.

The jet assembly fits over a barb on the washer shaft, if you pull the jet out, you should be able to see where it clips on.
