intermittent starting problem 3.2 v6 auto

my y reg 3.2 usually starts first time every time  but lately i have an intermittent problem.

sometimes the car will not start and the immobiliser icon flashes .can sometimes be started by removing the key and trying again ,but not always and sometimes not at all.

 i only have the one key.any ideas?

Open the key up and check the transponder has not moved in the holder, if it has a dab of superglue is good  :)  had this one myself  :)
