another odd trait of owning a VX
« on: 24 April 2008, 12:00:32 »

When accelerating up to the redline some times the engine will judder/sounds like its holding back and this will cuase the brake warning light to flicker in time with the engine missing.

Just fitted a new GM cranksensor 10 days ago and has been fine since but today she feels wierd.

Am i to be worried?

Thanks
Jon

Maybe try a vx crank sensor. Where did you buy the GM crank sensor and how much. need to stock some.

It was a Vauxhall Sensor,

GM as in General Motor OE part

Try the paperclip test to see if there are any codes stored

135   Telltale (Checklight) Voltage Low

19   Incorrect RPM Signal

will the ecu clear codes after a while?
and will it generate a code even if the EML doesnt come on? :y
